TOMORROWS WINE
$25.99
Country: France
Region: Loire
Type: Red Wine
Grape: Cabernet Franc
Loire winemaker Nicolas Reau named this wine after his son, Ange. It is produced from a single vineyard of 1.8 hectares that represents the youngest Cabernet Franc on the estate. Grapes are 100% de-stemmed and receive 3 to 4 weeks of maceration, in 50% oak foudre and 50% concrete. The wine is then aged 6 months on lees in 50% oak foudre and 50% concrete, and bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfur.
This Cab Franc is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with fresh acidity, delicate tannins, and notes of blackcurrants, green peppercorn and dark chocolate. An easy-drinking red, it’s delicious with or without food, and brightens up with a light chill.
