Ange is the name of winemaker Nicolas Reau's son. This wine is produced from a single vineyard of 1.8 ha that represents the youngest Cabernet Franc of the estate. Grapes are 100% de-stemmed. 3 to 4 weeks of maceration, in 50% oak foudre and 50% concrete, then aged 6 months on lees in tank, 50% oak foudre and 50% concrete. Bottled with no fining or filtration and no added sulfur.

Medium-bodied and well-balanced, with fresh acidity and delicate tannins. Notes of blackcurrants, green peppercorn and dark chocolate. This is an easy-drinking red that can definitely be chilled.
