Shipping & Delivery FAQ's

When can I expect to receive my order?

Shipment time depends on your location. You can generally expect to receive your shipment within 2-7 business days of the order leaving our premises. As soon as it is packed up, you will receive a shipping notification with tracking information.

Does someone need to be home at the time of delivery?

For both shipping and local delivery, someone over the age of 21 will need to be home at the time of delivery to present a valid ID and sign for the package. Because a common carrier is responsible for delivery, you acknowledge and expressly agree that Tomorrowswine.com is not responsible for the delivery of alcohol to underage persons or intoxicated persons.

For orders shipped via Fedex, three delivery attempts will be made. If you are unavailable to receive your order or make an alternate arrangement to get your package from the carrier, the package will be returned to sender and re-shipments may incur additional fees. 

How much does shipping and local delivery cost?

Shipping rates are variable and are calculated based on carrier rates depending on the weight and dimensions of the package and the distance shipped.

Can I cancel an order once it’s been placed?

Orders may not be canceled once they have been shipped (in the possession of the shipping carrier). Order cancellations made before shipping are subject to a 10% restocking fee, unless there was an error on our behalf. The customer may request a re-routing after shipment, but will be responsible for communication with, and any associated fees charged by, the shipping carrier.

The weather is VERY (hot/cold) right now and I’m concerned my wine will be damaged in transit. Can you hold my order?

Neither Tomorrowswine.com nor our shipping carriers will accept liability for weather-related damage. We may be able to hold orders on premise during seasonal weather extremes on a case-by-case basis. Please call us at 415.872.5782 or email us at hello@tomorrowswine.com to organize a hold and arrange future shipment. 

What shipping carrier does Tomorrowswine use?

Tomorrowswine.com currently uses Fedex to ship orders. By placing an order on this site, you hereby agree to Tomorrowswine.com "Terms of Service”. In the state of California, title on all alcohol passes to the buyer at the time of purchase, making the buyer solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and any loss or damage to goods once they have left our premises. 

Please note that we do not ship internationally.

Can I pick up my wine instead of having it shipped?

Yes! Select the “local pickup” option at checkout. Our brick-and-mortar location is at 240 Balboa Street (between 4th & 5th Ave.), in San Francisco. Please check our hours before coming by.

Does Tomorrows Wine offer local wine delivery? 

We are happy to offer local delivery within San Francisco for minimum purchases of $250, pre-tax. Please select “local pickup” at checkout and provide instructions in the notes section or give us a call at 415.872.5782. Delivery times vary depending on availability. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee same-day delivery.
