vibrant, expressive wine reflects 7th generation winemaker Matthieu Barret's commitment to traditional and minimal-intervention winemaking, showcasing the unique terroir of Crozes-Hermitage.

Grapes are hand-harvested from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in the "Les Chassis" area around the village of Beaumont-Monteux, featuring limestone and clay soils with Rhône river pebbles. Fermentation in concrete tanks using indigenous yeasts, with 50% whole bunch and 50% destemmed fruit.

The wine undergoes maceration for approximately two weeks, with daily pump-overs during the first week and gentle punch-downs during the second week to extract structured yet well-integrated tannins. Aged for nine months in concrete tanks to preserve freshness and purity of fruit, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur. Notes of blackberry, plum and violets, with firm tannins and a long finish.
