Matija Žerjav, known as Matic to his friends, farms nine hectares of old, organic family vineyards and makes wine in a cellar dating back to 1852. Fruit is harvested and carefully selected under the full moon before being transferred into clay amphora where they spent 7 months on their skins, naturally fermenting on the wild yeasts. The wine was then pressed and racked back into amphora for settling. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, also under a full moon.  

This does seem like just the kind of wine ancient gods would choose for their party, as the label suggests. Aromas of green apples, orange zest and flowers, along with soft tannins, citrus and a bit of spice on the palate. It has a long finish with lingering mineral and stone fruit notes.
