Maison de Montille Rully 2020

This white Rully comes from "Les Chaponnières du Dessus", north of Rully, near Chagny. Planted at the start of the hillside on deep, clayey soil without any pebbles, these organically grown vines is over 50 years old. 

Aging lasts from 12-14 months. As always, Alix de Montille insists on the importance of using stainless steel tanks. His Rullys stay there for four months before release in order to bring out optimum freshness.

A wonderfully fresh and expressive nose with notes of pear, green apple and a hint of citrus. Clean, intense and medium weight, with a naturally fruity, yet dry and crisp finish.
