Type: Red Wine
After finishing his degree in oenology, in 1995 Denis Lattard took over his family's chicken and vegetable farm located in the heart of Ardèche. In the farm's past life, it had been covered in vines. This history inspired Denis to begin to plant on his 6.3 hectare estate. Today, his certfied organic Gamay, Syrah, Roussanne, and Viognier vines live in limestone and clay soils at 350m of altitude. Since 2007, he adds zero sulfur to his wines.
Organic farming. Grapes are de-stemmed for a 15-25 day maceration. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. Aged in stainless steel.
Fresh and lively, with high-toned blackberry and dark plum, along with deeper savory and peppery notes.
