Pineau d’Aunis from 30 year-old, organically farmed vines in clay/limestone soil. The grapes were fermented with whole bunches for three weeks and spent fifteen months aging in old barrels. As always these were the first red grapes the family harvested.

Taut and bright, with aromas and flavors of fresh pepper and wild strawberry. Lovely tannins give the wine structure and a slight herbal bitterness on the finish.
