The Gilles Cornas (Chaillot) is mostly from 40+ year-old vines on Les Grands Murs and Les Terrasses, both on Chaillot, plus older vines on Mazards and  Saveaux.

Practicing organic. Whole-cluster fermentation, aging in old 400 and 600 liter casks. Bright dark red color, with aromas of iodine, salt, red cherry, cassis, and lead pencil. On the palate, pure, concentrated and complex, with small black fruits, good length, and notes of iron, minerals and violets on the finish.
