Alice Bouvot is the proprietor of Domaine de l'Octavin, comprised of 5 hectares of vines in the Arbois region of the Jura. Alice started her domaine in 2005 with just 2 hectares and over the years has bought small plots and slowly increased the winery's production. L’Octavin is Demeter biodynamic certified--wild grasses, weeds, insects, and animals all have a place in their vines, creating a true ecosystem that gives a deeper meaning to her wines.

A blend of Vermentino, Marsanne and Roussane from Claude Ughetto in the Vaucluse. The Vermentino was pressed directly, whilst the others were either fermented as whole bunches or left to infuse in the juice of the Vermentino for a fortnight. After fermentation the wines were blended, pressed and left to rest in cuve until the following summer, producing a hazy, lively maceration that is all tangerine, sea salt and bitter herbs.
