Based in the celebrated Grand Cru village of Avize in the Côte des Blancs, Agrapart crafts some of the world's finest grower Champagne, farming old vines organically and relying on native yeast fermentations, extended lees aging, and minimal intervention, to reveal the pure expression of Champagne's legendary chalk soils. The estate, previously known as Agrapart & Fils, was established in 1894 by Arthur Agrapart, and is now run by the fifth generation of the family, Ambroise Agrapart, who joined his father Pascal in the 2018 vintage.
The first Rosé Champagne made by Agrapart in approximately 20 years, this wine combines old vine Grand Cru Chardonnay from Avize and Cramant (some more than 60 years old), blended with still red wine from Pinot noir vines planted in Avenay Val d'Or by Pascal in 1982. Next generation Amboise found the Pinot to be so exciting that he added a Rosé back to the Agrapart range. A unicorn champagne for your cellar, if you are lucky enough to snag a bottle.
