After a career in horticulture and some time working in the restaurant business, Damien Bastian became interested in natural wine. He worked for a well-known Savoie-based winemaker, Dominique Lucas, before settling on 75 acres of chasselas vines in the Marignan appellation (Savoie) less than 1km from Lake Geneva. “Ça Boit Libre” is a play on words; drinking freely (without additives), and Freedom for Savoie (Savoie LIBRE).

100% biodynamic Pinot Noir above Lake Geneva in Savoie in the French Alps. Hand-harvested and whole-cluster spontaneously fermented for 1 - 3 weeks, and aged in neutral barrique for 12 months before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfur.
