Winemaker Gina Giugni, who founded Lady of the Sunshine in 2017, brings a deep commitment to biodynamic and organic farming, as well as minimal intervention in winemaking. This is her first release of the Mountain Meadow Pinot Noir.  This organic four-acre vineyard is head trained, dry farmed and planted in a meadow in the mountains of the SLO Coast, just four miles from the Pacific Ocean. 

Made with 75% whole cluster and aged in old french oak barrels for 17 months to soften its mountain edges. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur.  Light-bodied, with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and rose petals, balanced by earthy spice and fresh acidity. It’s structured, with subtle tannins, a complex, savory finish and a touch of salty minerality.
