Citrine is a gemstone of “yellow quartz”. Citrine Chardonnay is made with an eye towards a balance of golden California sun and a gentle kiss of minerality.

A blend of four different vineyards with an average age of almost 40 years. The blend also includes fruit from Bien Nacido, Watson Ranch, Hall Road & Brosseau vineyards. The Chardonnay grapes were gently whole cluster pressed and lightly settled. Barrel fermented with native yeast and full native ML fermentation. It was aged on its own lees for 12 months in barrel, before being blended and bottled unfined and unfiltered.

A balance of tropical fruit and floral aromatics with surprising acidity and a subtle creaminess. It is juicy, mineral-driven and a little bit saline, with some savory notes on the finish.
