The man behind Domaine de Saint Pierre. Fabrice Dodane studied enology in Beaune before working several years at the cooperative in Pupillin. He started working at Domaine de Saint Pierre in 1989 as a manager and took full control in 2011. The estate covers approximately 6 hectares in the Arbois and Côtes du Jura AOCs with the vines planted in limestone and marl soils.

Saint Pierre achieved organic certification by ECOCERT in 2012, having started conversion in 2002. All wines are fermented with native yeasts either in tank or neutral barriques. The whites are done flawlessly in both the traditional sous voile method as well as topped-up, or ouillé style. His estate wines are sold under the Domaine de Saint Pierre label while those made from purchased fruit are known as Les Dos d’Chat and are made in easy drinking, “glou glou” style.

This Arbois Blanc Savagnin "Autrement" from star natural winemaker Fabrice Dodane is fresh, complex and spicy. Aromas and  flavors of fresh citrus, dry extracts of orange and lemon, hints of spice and white flowers. Vibrant on the palate, with a saline edge, bright acidity and a long finish.
