Valdiguié (Napa Gamay) from the organically-farmed Rancho Chimiles vineyard in Wooden Valley, Napa Valley AVA. This is a cooler region in south Napa, nestled against the Vacas mountains, where the persistent mid-morning fog prevents extreme temperatures. Vines are 40+ years old. 

A sparkling rose, slight strawberry hue in the glass, with an effusive mousse. The palate is bright, sharp, and sophisticated with intense, watermelon and cranberry flavors, and the acid is structural and inviting. Only 10.5% ABV and no added sulfur.
