Fanny Daher began her wine journey by helping out at Domaine Sulauze, her cousin Guillaume’s winery. Her experience there led her to start her own venture as a négociant winemaker, which marked the beginning of her project "La Baladeuse." Through this project, she travels to source grapes from friends, family, and like-minded producers who share their vineyard’s fruit. All her winery partners practice organic and biodynamic farming in Southern Rhône, Languedoc, and Provence.
Fruit for Quand la Plaine Ondule is 100% Grenache from Saint Julien les Martigues, very close to Fanny's cellar. The grapes are carefully hand-picked to preserve their quality during transport to her cellar. A third of the fruit is direct pressed, and about two thirds macerates whole cluster in the direct press juice for 3 weeks. The wine is fermented in fiberglass tanks using only indigenous yeasts, and sulfur is avoided as much as possible.
