Located in the village of Magny-lès-Villers (Hautes-Côtes), Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand is comprised of a total of 22 hectares of vineyards with prestigious plots that have been managed by the intrepid winemaker Claire Naudin since 1994. She consistently makes wines with original style and personality.
Claire Naudin Le Clou 34 comes from five different plots with vines aged over 60 years old, planted in clay-calcareous and quite shallow soils. Sustainable and organic agriculture is practiced and no chemicals are used in the vineyards or the cellar. The yield is limited and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness. When the grapes reach the winery, they are pressed whole-cluster. Spontaneous fermentation then begins with native yeasts and the wine finally goes through a long aging process on its lees.
Bright and mineral-driven, with refreshing zippiness, counterbalanced by a lovely creaminess and texture.
