Belluard is a 10-acre estate located in Ayse, a commune in Savoie, France. The family has been making wine since 1947. Dominique Belluard had worked these intensely steep and difficult vines from 1988 until his death in June 2021.
Les Perles du Mont Blanc wine is made from 100% Gringet, a traditional grape of the Savoie region (Belluard grows roughly half of the entire world's production of the grape). The wine is left for two years on lees before it is disgorged thus adding to the complexity of the wine.
Intensely mineral, with aromas of pine, baking spices, and toasted nuts. Creamy texture on the palate, with flavors of pear, wildflower honey, and lemony curd, all balanced by refreshing acidity
