Anders Frederik Steen C'etait bien hier soir? Bah..Tu sais.. VDF Rose 2020 (500ml)

Anders Frederik Steen has been making wine from “grapes and only grapes” since 2013. Anders and his family have now settled in the beautiful village of Valvignères in the Ardèche and he grows grapes and makes wine at his friends Jocelyne & Gérald Oustric’s farm, Le Mazel. The many varieties grown here thrive on a perfect mix of clay and limestone. The vineyards are full of life, having been tended organically for decades.

An unusual blend that combines Caberent Sauvignon from Le Mazel in Valvignères with Gewürztraminer from the Bannwarth family in Obermorschwihr, Alsace. The grapes were both pressed directly and later blended into barrels, where they spent three years aging without ever being topped up.

A gorgeous shade of pink in the glass, this offers heady aromas of red berries, rose and exotic spice. Savory and saline on the palate, with a long finish.
