Dominique Lafon took over this already storied family domaine in 1985. Since then, he has realized the potential of an extraordinary collection of biodynamic vineyards based mostly around Meursault. The élevage on the wines is shorter and the plots are mostly located on the upper part of the hillsides, which gives the wines an interesting minerality and tension.The wines here have taken a turn for a leaner, more elegant style lately, and the results are magnificent. These white wines are among the greatest in Burgundy.
