The Mineral comes from two selected vineyard blocks (Bionnes in Cramant and Champbouton in Avize) with the same geological profile. A thin layer of soil barely covers the chalk. This terroir is exceptionally-well suited to Chardonnay and produces a mineral-driven expression of the variety which combines harmoniously with the brioche and butter notes from extended lees aging in the bottle. Part of the wine is fermented in oak barrels which adds extra complexity and a creamy texture to the finished Champagne. 

Precise, savory, and saline, Minéral expresses the chalky dimension of the terroir. Disgorged 2 months before the release date and dosage limited at 3 grams of sugar per liter. Aromas of lemon zest, bitter almond, and mineral notes. Vibrant freshness and bracing acidity on the palate, and a very long finish.
