This wine is a blend of three different picks from the organically farmed Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard, located in Santa Maria Valley. Each block is vinified separately with partial whole cluster, native yeast and is pressed based on taste. Picking decisions are based on acidity and flavor, with no additions other than minimal sulfur during elevage. The cuvee is aged in all neutral oak barrels for 10 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Pale ruby-purple color. Aromas of blackberries, rhubarb, licorice and cola, with notes of dried herbs. Medium-bodied and silky, with a balance of bright fruits and earth.
