This blend of these two Shake Ridge grape varieties merge charmingly – Grenache that is light in color, floral yet still tannic, with Mourvèdre that is much darker and richer, but has mellowed in structure with more time in barrel.

The Mourvèdre spent 5 days on skins before being pressed, and was aged for 18 months in neutral oak.  The Grenache spent 8 days on skins before pressing.  This wine also aged in neutral oak, but for only 6 months.  The two barrique were blended together just before bottling in late March 2024. Indigenous yeast fermentation. Very minimal sulfur. No other additions, the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. 

A delicious, juicy red blend with plenty of red fruits.
