Ludwig Neumayer has made wine on his family farm in the Traisental since before the appellation existed. It was his hard work, along with his brother Karl, that put the Traisental on the map and was instrumental in the creation of the appellation. The Neumayer wines are known for their clean pure mineral style. The farming is meticulous with an emphasis on biodiversity, regenerative farming and a minimal ecological footprint. All vines are hand picked and the utmost care is taken to let their unique limestone laden terroir shine through.
This is a quaffable Riesling from two of Ludwig Neumayer's limestone rich vineyards: Grillenbuel (meaning Cricket hill) and Zwirch his first growth old vine Riesling vineyard. The cuvee is intended to drink in it's youth but still showcases Neumayer's signature style of pristine, mineral laden and refreshing but with a delightful touch of stone fruit and nectar.
