TOMORROWS WINE
$32.99
Country: USA
Region: Lake County
Type: Rose
Grape: Touriga Nacional/Tinta Cao/Trincadeira/Grenache
Arnot-Roberts has singlehandedly introduced the Portuguese varietal Touriga Nacional to the California wine market. Though well-known as a big part of the blends used to make fine port, it took the young California winemakers at Arnot-Roberts to show the great rosé it is capable of producing. Beginning with the 2020 vintage, small percentages of other grapes have been added to the mix. Touriga Nacional still remains the dominant varietal in the blend. The fruit is crushed lightly prior to pressing to release some color, then fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel.
Vibrant, pale salmon color, with aromas of melon, citrus and dried herbs. Flavors of orchard fruits with bright acidity and a saline, mineral finish.
