Röte is a complex wine made from 100% Pinot Gris. Farming is certified organic and biodynamic. 1/3 of the grapes were pressed directly, 1/3 were skin-fermented for 18 days, and the last 1/3 spent 321 days on the skins before pressing.

 This wine has a striking hue of ripe orange papaya. Aromas of wet concrete, dried apricot, and dried herbs. The palate is beautifully textural but still approachable with flavors of perfectly ripe persimmon, candied ginger, orange zest and spice.
