Winemaker Ramon Jane is forward thinking, and creates wines that showcase the intuitive brilliance of his superb biodynamic fruit and push the boundaries of tradition in his native Penedès. Ramon tends his family's vines with vision, wisdom, and care, making polished and restrained wines with tons of character.
Fruit is sourced from vineyards between 10 to 50 years old on calcareous clay soils. Hand harvested, and all grapes are fermented together with some full clusters. Mando and Xarello are macerated for 17 days and Sumoll is pressed directly. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel with the lees until it was bottled, unfiltered, with no added sulfur.
A vibrant and wild light red co-ferment with wild berry, plum, and a slightly spicy edge. Bright acidity keeps it fresh and zippy. Serve with a slight chill.
