Farming is certified organic. For complexity, completeness, and balance, Matthiasson achieves a diversity of ripeness by using the traditional method of harvesting the fruit a number of different times during the ripening period. The earlier harvests contribute acidity and minerality, and the later harvests contribute flesh and richness. The grapes are fermented and aged sur lees in neutral French oak barrels, with only native yeast. No racking, and minimal battonage (lees stirring) is done on only a few selected barrels. 

Moderate alcohol and vibrant acidity are the trademarks of the Linda Vista vineyard, complemented by the perfect amount of luscious creaminess. With n otes of zesty Meyer lemons, Golden Delicious apples, yellow peaches, musk melon, and honey, this is a beautifully balanced, mineral-driven Chardonnay with a clean finish.
