In 2008, Gianluca Bergianti founded Terrevive with 16 hectares in the village of Gargallo di Carpi just outside Modena, operating according to strict biodynamic principles since day one. He has since expanded to 35 hectares, growing cereals, vegetables, fruits, herbs, and, of course, grapes. Gianluca’s commitment to low cellar intervention and to the traditional method for producing Lambrusco results in highly unique wines of intense personality and riveting acidity.
Soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, refermentation in the bottle according to the ancestral method. Very minimal sulfur added. A rich, yet high-acid style wine. Medium-bodied, with focused aromas of citrus, yeast, white flowers and ripe stone fruits. Dry and refreshing.
