Composed of 100 % Gaglioppo from a 30 year-old vineyards located in Cirò, Calabria’s most well-known region. The Scala family acquired this estate in 1949 and continue to farm their 18 hectares of vines organically. Grown on clay/sandy soils, this Southern Italian rosato is juicy and spicy possessing a deep pink color, a mineral-rich mid-palate full of cherry and berry flavors and a dry, crisp finish. Freshness, a salty tang, bright fruit and red flowers.
