Winemaker Evan Lewandowski worked at the Binner Estate in Alsace, then returned to Utah with plans to plant a vineyard. In the meantime, he is sourcing organic grapes from vineyards in Mendocino and making pure, vibrant natural wines.
Fruit comes from Testa Vineyard in Mendocino. Organic farming. The grapes were picked on the same day and whole cluster co-fermented. Fermentation occurred spontaneously without temperature control. Full native malolactic fermentation took place. Wine was racked one time. It was bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero sulfites.
A big, inky red blend that's still acid-driven and focused. Beautiful floral aromatics and structured red and black fruits on the palate.
