Ribelà is a dialect term used in Monte Porzio Catone which means "to cover," or "ribelare," the newly planted vines with earth. Hilling the land around the vine symbolizes a new beginning as well as continuous care and renewal. Farming is biodynamic, certified organic and with minimal intervention. Vines are in volcanic soil, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, aged in steel, unfined, unfiltered.
Macerated 10 days on skin and aged in fiberglass, this chillable red wine is dry, and spicy, with herbal aromas. It's fresh and juicy on the palate with plenty of earthy fruit.
