Tomorrow's Wine
$52.99
Country: France
Region: Jura
Type: Red Wine
Grape: Pinot Noir/Trousseau/Poulsard
The first vintage of this wine was released in 2012, by the third-generation proprietor of one of Burgundy’s most prestigious estates, Domaine Marquis d’Angerville in Volnay, after he acquired vineyards in the Jura’s Arbois AOC.
Organic/biodynamic farming. The vineyards for Trois Cepages are all located in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures. The geology of the soils are composed of predominatly grey and black marls, partially covered with fallen rocks. Elevage for one year, in neutral Burgundy barrels (50%) and foudre. Minimal added sulfur.
Aromatic, textured and full of crunchy red fruit and bright acidity. Notes of fresh strawberries and raspberries, with peppery nuances, touch of earth, flowers
and juicy persistence.
