Papras Bio Wines is operated by the Papras family. Stergios Papras, the family’s oenologist, was the local co-op’s president and oenologist from 1979 until recently, and put the region on the map for championing the indigenous grapes of the area - Black Muscat of Tyrnavos and Tsipouro.
25 days of skin contact with partial stems in stainless steel, spontaneously fermented in ambient temperatures, followed by a few days in old oak barrel. Very minimal sulfites added at bottling.
Vibrant orange color. Light, with high-toned aromatics of lime blossom, chamomile, and quince. Delicate palate with gentle tannins.
