Grape: Chenin blanc/Grenache blanc/Muscat blanc
Fruit for this wine comes from Clarksburg, Clements Hills and Contra Costa County. The Chenin/Muscat base cuvée was whole cluster pressed separately and fermented to dryness together in stainless steel. The day of bottling, freshly pressed Grenache blanc juice was blended with the base wine as the sugar component. The wine was bottled under crown cap in September 2019 and completed fermentation in bottle, resulting in sparkling wine in the ‘pétillant naturel’ style. No fining, no filtration, no sulfur, and no other modifications or additions.
