Ascona Vineyard sits at 2500 feet elevation at the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains. 100% organic farming practices. Natural yeast fermentation, whole cluster fermented. The ferments spent 20 days on the skins and were pressed to neutral French oak.
Moderate garnet color in the glass. Deep aromas and flavors of plums, cherries and berries, with notes of exotic spices and burnt tobacco. Balanced, with a good cut of acidity and smooth tannins. Juicy finish.
