Type: White Wine
Winemaker Ismael Gozalo is known as ‘El Mago de las Verdejos’ (the Magician of Verdejo), the indigenous varietal of the village where his family has been farming for five generations. Gozalo’s Verdejos grow on pre-phylloxera ungrafted vines, some of them dating all the way back to 1748.
Hand-harvested from 150 year-old vines. Fermented in clay amphorae on the skins and aged in stainless steel tanks for about 3 months to preserve this wine's young and fresh profile. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, without sulfur. Light-boded, bright, and easygoing.
