All-Star Rosé Offering:
Set includes 6 bottles specially priced at $175 +tax (regular price $194):
Cantina Giardino Volpe Rosa 2019 - made from the unicorn grape, Pink Coda di Volpe. Culty, and delicious.
Cornelissen Susucaru Rosato 2020 - recently released, highly allocated and almost sold out. Speaking of cult followings, this is the David Koresh of rosé in a bottle. Drinks more like a light red than a rosé, just one of many reasons we love it and put up with the hype.
Alessandro Viola Rosé 2020 - yup, southern Italian pink wines effectively sweeping the first 3 spots here, perhaps because this SF summer weather sucks and we’re dreaming of the blue Mediterranean (and weeping inside) or these are all awesome, unique Roses. Note: for the record we love every wine from Alessandro Viola wine we have ever tasted and this 2020 Rosé is even better than the ‘19.
Absentee Winery Pink 2019 - Carignan from Poor Ranch Vineyard, slightly feral, bottled unfiltered, unfined with no added sulfur.
Arnot-Roberts 2020 - elegant, complex, a perennial staff fav from Nathan & Duncan. The finish on this rosè folds its bright acidity, minerality and saline edge together as well as any we have taste.
Andi Knauss La Boutanche Rosé 2020 - one liter of crushable rosé goodness from Trollinger our favorite chillable red grape. We are stoked to have this back and sorry to see how quickly it will be gone.
