Kewin (French for Kevin) produced his first vintage in 2013, at the old age of 21. Kewin, whose nickname is Kéké, currently farms about 15 acres of Morgon, given to him by his father, Georges Descombes, and four acres he rents within the Beaujolais appellation. Cuvée Kéké is his entry-level offering, widely acclaimed as a classic example of Beaujolais.
Bright and sappy aromas of cherries, sweet cranberries, smoke, soil and floral tones, while on the palate the wine is medium-full, bright and juicy at the core, with a touch of ripe tannin, good acids and impressive length and grip on the complex finish.
