This bottling comes from the argilo-calcaire soils close to the village of Mittelbergheim. It is made via semi-carbonic fermentation over 16 days using indigenous yeast etc. Aging is six months in foudre. It is bottled without any added sulfur.
This wine gets its good color from the maceration. It’s very light, but with concentrated fruit and zippy acidity, like a fresh glass of alcoholic raspberry juice.
