Fruit for this wine comes from Witters vineyard (El Dorado). 100% Gamay Noir grown at over 3,000 feet elevation on volcanic clay loam soil.

The grapes were harvested at 20 brix and fermented in stainless steel. The wine was aged in barrel for 2 months in barrel and six months in bottle before disgorging by hand.
