Tomorrow's Wine
$36.99
Country: Italy
Region: Tuscany
Type: Red Wine
Grape: Sangiovese
Maria Sole’s wine, 'Bulgarelli'—named after her grandfather’s prized stallion—is 100% Sangiovese from 20- to 30-year-old vines planted in the sandy clay soils of the farm’s main three parcels: Ficomontano, Melogranino, and Campo Cavalli. Farming is biodynamic. Fermented naturally, with a 15-day maceration, the wine spent six months in a combination of cement and steel vats, and was bottled without fining or filtration.
Intense ruby red color. Fruity and floral aromas, with light spicy and earthy notes. The wine is medium-bodied and fresh, balanced by good acidity and a long, fruity finish.
