Elisa Guerin is the daughter of a winegrower and has been making wine since 2019 vintage in Moulin à Vent & Beaujolais-Villages. She focuses on quality work in the vineyard, in order to obtain beautiful vines, healthy soils and balanced grapes. Her winemaking is as low-intervention as possible.  Elisa Guérin works organically without certification and shuns winery intervention except for a minimal sulfur addition pre-bottling.Ultimately, she seeks to respect the expression of gamay as much as possible, making wines that are fruity, complex, tannic or fine, depending on the terroirs.  

From a 3.7 acre plot of 60-year-old vines in Les Thorins, this wine was made in the Beaujolais method with 30% aged in old barrels. This big wine is intense, smoky, and very long.
