Grape: Brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume come from a wine making family in Aloxe-Corton. In 2009, they created their own domaine, Chapuis Frères. Based in Ladoix-Serrigny, the brothers now also have a side project ‘Chapuis et Chapuis,’ in which they are making natural wines from Burgundy, from both their family organically-farmed vineyards, located throughout the region. They do not use any sulfur, and their wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The wine is a Méthode Traditionnelle blanc de noirs. Champagne-like bubbles. Very crisp and citrusy, with notes of toasted brioche and butter, and lovely minerality.
