Type: Red Wine
Grape: Pinot Noir
From Grégory Leclerc of Chahut et Prodiges who works 6.5 hectares of vines in Amboise, a waterfront town just down river from Vouvray/Montlouis in Touraine, in the central Loire Valley.
100% Pinot Noir hand-harvested from vines grown in Clay, Limestone, and Flint soils. The grapes undergo a short, semi-carbonic maceration prior to full spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks. The wine then ages for several months in fiberglass. Unfined, unfiltered, with no additional sulfur.
Bright red fruit aromas, with exotic umami and herbal notes, with a touch of ginger.
