Château de Béru has been around since the 12th century & in the family for 400 years. After a conversion to organic viticulture, the domaine now also works biodynamically. The parcel for this wine, planted in the 80's, is located in the municipality of Beru, 300m above sea level and is made up of Kimmeridgian soil.
Grapes are hand-harvested. Whole-cluster long gentle press cycle. Natural fermentation (with indigenous yeasts). Aged 3½ years in oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with very minimal added sulfur.
Bright and minerally, with citrus and green apple notes.
