The most recent acquisition of the Heritiers du Comte Lafon are three parcels spread between Prissé and Davayé that total 2 hectares. Certified biodynamic farming. 25+ year old vines. This is magical terroir for St-Veran – clay soil on a bed of hard limestone.

The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in large oak foudres, and the result is a medium-weight wine that is ripe and forward, with lush apricot fruit, citrus notes and a hint of spice, balanced by a lemon-tinged acidity and a mineral finish.
