Located in the heart of the Langhe hills, at the top of the village of Castiglione Falletto,  Vietti was founded in the late 1800's by Carlo Vietti. The estate has gradually grown over the course of time, and today the vineyards include some of the most highly-prized terroirs within the Barolo winegrowing area. 

The grapes for Barbaresco Masseria are harvested from vineyard located Treiso. The vineyard has a southern exposure with a mix of clay and limestone in the soil.  The wine is aged for a total of 2.5 years in large oak vats, barriques and steel tanks. Garnet ruby color, with intense aromas of ripe cherries, tea leaves and rose petals. Firm, ripe tannins, excellent acidity and round structure. This Barbaresco shows incredible finesse with balance, integration and a long, lingering finish.

The grapes for Barolo Ravera are selected from the single vineyard Ravera in Novello, where the vines have an average age of 25 years, with the oldest part planted in 1935. The wine spends over a year on fine lees, before aging for about 30 months in Slovenian oak casks. With an intense garnet red color, this is a very classic and traditional Barolo with a robust structure and intense tannins. It opens slowly in the glass, with powerful structure and concentration, and a lingering finish.
