Planted in 1886, the Bechtold vineyard is the oldest of its kind in the country. The vines are gnarly, head-trained and planted on their own roots. This wine is fermented with whole clusters using native yeast and spends a mere six months in old oak.

Well balanced, medium-bodied and dry, it is aromatic and perfumed on the nose, with a tart fresh palate and deliciously fresh finish of sour berries.
