From a 2900 ft. elevation vineyard. Organic/biodynamic farming. Whole-cluster fermentation. Mostly volcanic soils, which yields some smoky minerality and metallic notes to an otherwise dark and sensual wine.
Aromas of spice, red fruits, crushed black pepper, and a touch of earth. Fresh and medium-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and balanced fruit. Even better with a slight chill.
